In Neuil, very close to Azay-le-Rideau and Chinon, the Clos de la Charbonnière welcomes you in a preserved natural setting, between meadows and forest.

Here, we take our time. Time to savor breakfast in the garden, to refresh ourselves in the pool, to explore the surrounding villages and castles, or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Florence and Stan offer two independent, 3-star rated cottages , where the charm of the old is combined with the comfort of today.

Two cottages, two atmospheres

La Petite Charbonnière – Up to 4 people

Cozy and bright, La Petite Charbonnière is ideal for a getaway for two or a holiday with a small family. Its 65 m² offer comfortable and well-designed spaces, with a bedroom in the attic and a pleasant private green space, complete with a pergola and garden furniture.

La Grande Charbonnière – Up to 8 people

With its three bedrooms, living spaces spread over three levels, and private garden, La Grande Charbonnière is perfect for holidays with family or friends. Its terrace, shaded by vines and wisteria, invites al fresco dining and long summer evenings.

In both cottages, the kitchens are fully equipped, the beds are made upon your arrival, and towels are provided. These thoughtful touches ensure your holiday begins from the very first moment.

The pleasure of living outdoors

At Clos de la Charbonnière, nature is part of the stay.

The heated swimming pool , opening onto a vast meadow bordered by forest, offers a beautiful space for relaxation on sunny days.

The youngest children can enjoy the trampoline, swings and playhouse, while young and old can get together for a game of pétanque, mölkky, ping-pong or badminton.

And for those who prefer to do nothing, there is always a deckchair, a shady spot and the pleasure of enjoying the scenery.

Clos de la Charbonnière is ideally located to discover some of the most beautiful sites in the Loire Valley.

Nearby, the castles of Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Ussé and Langeais tell the story of the region, while Chinon and its narrow streets invite you to stroll.

Lovers of gourmet discoveries will appreciate the vineyards of Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur and Vouvray , the farmers' markets and the many restaurants that showcase local flavors.

Touraine can also be discovered by chance during a walk, in a small village, on a country road or through an encounter.
